About the Founders
Kerry and Karen Battle, founders of Pest King, LLC, are proud natives of Alabama with deep roots in the communities they serve. Kerry Battle was raised on the north side of Huntsville, while Karen Battle grew up in both Huntsville and Madison, Alabama. Together, they bring a strong commitment to excellence, customer service, and community care through their leadership at Pest King.
Kerry Battle proudly served for over 10 years in law enforcement, where he developed strong leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills. Seeking a less restrictive and more personally fulfilling career path, he transitioned into a field that aligned with his lifelong love for nature.
With over 14 years of experience in lawn care, horticulture, and pest management, Kerry has combined his passion for the outdoors with his commitment to service. His expertise and dedication form the cornerstone of Pest King’s commitment to quality, innovation, and community care.
Karen Battle brings over 3 years of experience in pest control management, with specialized expertise in termite inspection, prevention, and treatment. In addition to her technical skills, she has more than 10 years of entrepreneurial and business experience. Karen has developed a strong background in customer service, business operations, and leadership, which she applies daily to the strategic growth and client satisfaction efforts at Pest King. Her attention to detail in identifying termite risks and implementing effective solutions makes her a valuable asset to homeowners and businesses seeking long-term protection. Her practical business approach and dedication to service excellence continue to support Pest King’s reputation for reliability and care.
